Summerville is a beautiful town in Dorchester County, South Carolina. Summerville was settled after the Revolutionary War and became a township in 1847. The Flowertown Festival is a community event in Summersville that occurs every year in the spring; this celebration draws in a large number of people from all over. Families enjoy time at Wassamassaw Park and Azealia Park or along the Sawmill trail.
